Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idling stop control device for a motorcycle for ensuring idling stop of an engine while reflecting the intention of a rider, and on the other hand for enabling smooth restart of the engine without disturbing a series of starting operations.SOLUTION: An idling stop control device 36 is provided for a motorcycle 1 which includes an engine 3, a manual transmission 22, and a clutch mechanism 31 for connecting/disconnecting power transmission from the engine 3 to the manual transmission 22. It includes an idling stop control part 68 for making the engine 3 transition from an operating condition into an idling stop condition on the basis of intentional idling stop starting operation by a rider on the motorcycle 1, and a restart control part 69 for restarting the engine 3 from the idling stop condition into the operating condition on the basis of intentional starting operation by the rider on the motorcycle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
