Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently treat garbage by providing plural agitating shafts vertically shifted from one another in a treating tank and rotating the respective agitating shafts so that garbage is scraped upward in the shifting direction of the agitating shaft.
SOLUTION: Garbage W, a microorganism and a microorganism promoter are introduced into a treating tank 1 to decompose the garbage W. In this case, the agitating shafts 2 and 3 are rotated by an electric motor in directions of the arrows B1 and C1 to agitate the garbage W by the impeller 4 of the agitating shafts 2 and 3, and hot air is introduced into a hot air passage 12 from a hot air generator 14 and discharged into a treating space S from a discharge port 12B. At this time, the garbage W is scraped upward by the impeller 4 in the shifting direction of the axes O1 and O2, hence the surface W1 of the waste W is inclined upward to the right to increase the surface area, the contact area with air is increased correspondingly, and the garbage W is more efficiently treated.
