Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission system capable of detecting a series of delay quantity from operation of an operation switch up to reception of an image by an operation unit even in an unoperated state without requiring time information in the image transmission system.SOLUTION: An operation unit 1 includes command generation output means 11 for generating a non-identical unique command. A swivel base 2 of a camera apparatus includes: data generation output means 22 for generating data having relationship with the generated command at a rate of 1 to 1; data multiplexing means 23 for multiplexing the generated data with an image of the camera apparatus; and image transmission means 24 for transmitting the multiplexed image signal to an operation section. The operation unit includes image/data separation means 14 for separating the camera image and the generated data from the image signal transmitted from the camera apparatus and means 15 for calculating delay quantity of the camera image against operation from the outputted command and the data obtained by the image/data separation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
