Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device by which a driver can instantaneously and appropriately recognize the information whose importance is relatively high while a vehicle is running.SOLUTION: An image display device 1 for a vehicle includes a video data acquisition part 5, a projection part 3, and a projection control part 4. The video data acquisition part 5 acquires video data in which first information whose importance while a vehicle is running is relatively low and second information whose importance while the vehicle is running is relatively high are synthesized. The projection part 3 projects the video data as a video light. The projection control part 4 controls the projection part 3. The projection control part 4 controls the projection part 3 so that the driver of the vehicle visually recognizes that the first information is displayed with a first scene whose degree of change while the vehicle is running is relatively large of scenes that the driver of the vehicle views, as a background, and the second information is displayed with a second scene whose degree of change while the vehicle is running is relatively small of the scenes that the driver of the vehicle views, as a background.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
