PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of showing an image having a correct brightness and color to a user.SOLUTION: The image display device of the present invention includes: a display panel in which colors and brightness recognized by human eyes or the difference between both of them is guaranteed to be within the allowable value in the range where a sight angle to a direction orthogonal to a screen is not more than a guarantee angle; detection means for detecting the position of a user; determination means for determining to which region inside the screen an image to be shown to the user is displayed on the basis of the guarantee angle of the display panel and the position of the user detected by the detection means; and display control means for performing the control of the displaying of the image to be shown to the user in the region determined by the determination means. The determination means determines the region to display the image so that the sight angle to the direction orthogonal to the screen is not more than the guarantee angle when the image on the screen is seen from the position of the user detected by the detection means.
