Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device capable of performing the binding operation with the number of appropriate binding sheets.SOLUTION: An image forming system (10) comprises an image forming device 200 which forms the image on a sheet material, and a post-processing device 500 which performs the binding process in units, taking a plurality of sheet material on which the image is formed, as a part. The image forming system (10) comprises also a storage device 204, which stores the number of sheet material capable of performing the binding process as a part, as number information and a CPU201, which performs the binding process of each of the number of sheet in a range obtained by adding or subtracting a predetermined number of sheet to number information, as a part. Further, the CPU 201 receives the input of the number of sheet to be subjected to the binding process in units identified based on the results of the binding process, so as to update number information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
