Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the quantity of the toner existing in a toner bottle when the toner bottle is replaced, without depending on the toner residual quantity state in a hopper or development apparatus in an image formation device.SOLUTION: The image formation device includes a hopper 3 and development apparatus 7 that receive and hold toner supplied from a toner bottle 6. When an unused toner bottle is mounted to a mounting unit, toner is supplied from the toner bottle in accordance with the toner residual quantity in the hopper and development apparatus. In displaying the toner residual quantity in the toner bottle, the toner residual quantity is displayed while the rate of change of the toner residual quantity is changed in accordance with the supplied toner quantity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
