PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility that output is executed beyond the limit.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a reading part that reads image data from pages of a document; a printing part that prints data based on the read image data in parallel with the reading of the image data performed by the reading part; and a control part that stops the printing performed by the printing part before printing of all the image data read by the reading part is executed, and when data stored in the storage part based on the image data read by the reading part reaches a first threshold while the printing is stopped, causes the printing part to resume printing of the data stored in the storage part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
