Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which re-printing is performed by discarding all the sheets in conveyance regardless of a printing result at the time of detecting non-discharge when the periodical non-discharge check is performed in an inkjet printer.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes: conveyance means; image formation means; reading means; and determination means which determines whether failure occurs in a read image. The image formation means forms an image based on an inspection pattern or printing data. The determination means determines whether the failure occurs in the inspection pattern. When it is determined that the failure occurs in the inspection pattern, the conveyance means re-conveys a sheet having such a possibility that the failure occurs in the image among the sheets formed with the image based on the printing data to the conveyance path. The determination means determines whether the failure occurs in the image based on the formed printing data. The conveyance means does not discard the sheet when it is determined that the failure does not occur in the image based on the printing data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
