PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the same image as an image displayed on a portable information device.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus communicable with a portable information device comprises: an address acquisition part (S51) which acquires the address of data for display described in a data description language from the portable information device; a display capacity acquisition part (S55) which acquires display capacity of a display part included in the portable information device; a browsing part (S54) which uses the acquired display capacity to create an image for display to be displayed on the display part on the basis of the data for display specified by the acquired address; and an image forming control part (S60) which forms an image of the image for display on a recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
