Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device which can be reduced in the size of the whole device while juxtaposing a needle binding unit with a crimp binding unit, and provide an image formation apparatus.SOLUTION: A sheet binding device 80 which moves along the end edge of a sheet on a processing tray 76 juxtaposes a needle binding unit 81 with a crimp binding unit 82 in the movement direction. The needle binding unit and crimp binding unit have individual drive motors respectively, and execute binding processing by selectively switching the motors. A length Lm2 of the crimp binding unit is made shorter than a length Lm1 of the needle binding unit in the movement direction of the sheet binding device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
