Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual sheet feeder having a simple structure capable of stably feeding a long sheet without using a separate member and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: The manual sheet feeder includes a first tray rotatably supported on a side surface of the apparatus body, and a sheet stacking tray including a second tray slidably attached to the first tray. The sheet stacking tray can be switched between a stored state in which the second tray is stored in the first tray and an extended state in which the second tray is drawn out from the first tray in the feeding direction. The sheet stacking tray is arranged at a first position opened at a first angle from a storage portion formed in the apparatus body and a second position opened at a second angle smaller than the first angle in an extended state where the tip portion of the second tray is above the upper end portion of the storage portion. While the sheet stacking tray is placed at the second position, the long sheet is held between the sheet stacking tray and the side surface of the apparatus body and fed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
