Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can stably ensure the width of a conveyance path of a fuser without adding a component of the fuser.SOLUTION: Above a fixing cover 905 of a fuser, a scanner stay 12 is arranged. The scanner stay 12 is attached with a process unit. The scanner stay 12 has a bent part 12a that is bent to the opposite side of the fuser above the fixing cover 905. The fixing cover 905 is provided with a projection 906 that projects toward a body frame beyond a peripheral shape at a center part in a width direction orthogonal to a recording material conveyance direction. The projection 906 of the fixing cover 905 is in contact with a lower part of the bent part 12a of the scanner stay 12. This can prevent deformation of an upper conveyance guide 904 without adding a new stay to the fuser, and can prevent an increase in the width of a conveyance path formed by the upper conveyance guide 904 and a lower conveyance guide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
