Abstract:
To appropriately manage a position of a sheet when forming an image on both sides of the sheet.SOLUTION: First conveyance means (71) conveys a sheet received from a first conveyance path (59) to a second conveyance path (79). If conveyance of a subsequent sheet (3A) is stopped without image formation on a first surface of the subsequent sheet after an image is formed on a first surface of a preceding sheet, the first conveyance means is stopped without inverting the preceding sheet (2B) to a direction toward the second conveyance path. After that, conveyance of the subsequent sheet is started followed by conveyance of the preceding sheet to the second conveyance path by the first conveyance means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
