Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of suppressing retrieval omission of a device existing relatively close to an image formation device currently used by a user, when retrieving an image formation device having a desired function.SOLUTION: An MFP 10 (e.g., an MFP 10a) operated remotely by an external terminal 50 acquires the distance D2 (distance between device terminals) between the own device (MFP 10a) and an external terminal 50. The MFP 10a sets an area A21 centered on the MFP 10a and having the distance D2 between device terminals as a radius, as a retrieval area S. The MFP 10a retrieves the MFP 10 having a retrieval object function specified by the user, among the retrieval object devices (e.g., MFP 10b, 10e, 10f) in the retrieval area S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
