Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of generating composite image data of highly directional composite image data corresponding to user's preference.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes an imaging control unit 72 for acquiring a plurality of image data obtained by capturing the same subject, a saturation enhancement unit 73 for enhancing the saturation by adjusting the signal level of color component signal of each pixel, for each of the plurality of image data, and a composite image generation unit 74 for comparing the corresponding pixels in the plurality of image data, following to the saturation enhancement processing, and selecting a pixel of highest saturation, before generating the composite image data constituted of the pixels thus selected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
