Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of assisting analysis in which the characteristics of the anatomical structure of the brain is combined with connectivity between areas of the brain.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 300 comprises: a first acquisition unit which acquires an MR image which visualizes the tissue properties of the brain of an analyte; a second acquisition unit which acquires connection information indicating the connectivity between areas relating to multiple areas obtained by functionally or anatomically dividing the brain; and an analysis unit which performs analysis by using the MR image and the connection information and displays an analysis result to be assigned to the areas on a display 340.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
