Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technique capable of detecting a flicker component stably, without being affected by an imaging object, even if the luminance or color of the imaging object changes instantaneously due to flush light emission.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a flicker detector 105 for detecting the flicker component in each area of an input image, a number of frame calculation unit 102 for calculating the number of frames corresponding to the integral multiplication of the flicker period, a flush detector 103 for detecting flush light emission, and a selection unit 104 selecting an image for detecting the flicker component and outputting to the flicker detector 105. The selection unit 104 outputs an inputted image to the flicker detector 105 when flush light emission is not detected, and reads the input image of the number of frames in the past calculated by the frame calculation unit 102 from a storage buffer 101 and outputs the input image when flush light emission is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
