Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of slowly reducing noise included in a WDR synthetic image, and to provide a technique capable of switching ON/OFF of WDR synthetic processing slowly in time according to a change in lighting environments of a subject.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 1A includes: a threshold control unit 30 for controlling a threshold on the basis of a signal amplification degree in a sensor 10; a use image selection unit 40 for generating use image selection information by selecting either one of a short exposure image and a long exposure image detected by the sensor 10 in each pixel on the basis of relation between a pixel value of the long exposure image or the short exposure image with the threshold; and a WDR synthesis unit 60 for obtaining a synthetic image by synthesizing the short exposure image and the long exposure image in accordance with the use image selection information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
