Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for effectively and securely detecting unique portions by setting parameters corresponding with characteristics of the unique portions that appear during recording an image.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: acquisition means for acquiring image data which are read from a recorded image; processing means for performing a predetermined processing including averaging and addition corresponding to parameters including the division size of division areas dividing the image data and the travel amounts for moving the division areas; and extraction means for extracting unique portions in the recorded image from the image data after the predetermined processing is performed. The processing means comprises: assumption means which performs averaging processing to the image data to create a plurality of candidate image data according to the predetermined parameters, performs addition processing to the image data selected from the plurality of candidate image data, and assumes an appearance form of the unique portion based on recording conditions of the recorded image; and selection means for selecting the image data to be subject to addition processing from the plurality of candidate image data according to the appearance form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
