Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an image processing method capable of effectively detecting unique portions in a recorded image by setting parameters suitable to characteristics of the unique portions.SOLUTION: In an image processing method, an image is read with a reading resolution which is set to correspond to pixels to be read having a unique portion with a width of N pixels (N≥2). Then, for the acquired image data, predetermined image processing is done to respective division areas which can be obtained by division by a division size with a width larger than the N pixels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
