Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device and an image projection method that maintain weakness of a degree of coupling between a main processing unit and one or more sub-processing units, and are capable of executing an operation based on an instruction position on the sub-processing unit side.SOLUTION: A main board 110 comprises: an image acquisition part 111 that acquires an item selection image; an item position information acquisition part 113 that acquires position information for each item constituting the item selection image; a projection part 115 that projects the item selection image onto a projection medium; an instruction position identification information acquisition part 117 that acquires instruction position identification information capable of identifying the instruction position on the projected item selection image; an operation information calculation part 121 that identifies an item existing at the instruction position indicated by the instruction position identification information on the basis of the position information to calculate first operation information for selection of the identified item; and an operation information transmission part 123 that transmits the first operation information. A network board 150 comprises: an operation information acquisition part 155; and an operation execution part 157 that executes an operation based upon the first operation information.
