To provide an image projection device which can suppress color unevenness generated in a miniaturized light source device.SOLUTION: An image projection device comprises: a first light source which emits first excitation light in a specific wavelength; a second light source which emits second excitation light in a specific wavelength; a first wavelength conversion element which converts the first excitation light into light in a different prescribed wavelength and has a planar shape; and a second wavelength conversion element which converts the second excitation light into light in a prescribed wavelength different from that by the first wavelength conversion element and has the planar shape. The first wavelength conversion element and the second wavelength conversion element are arranged at positions where the surfaces thereof vertically intersect each other. The optical path length of the light emitted from the first wavelength conversion element and the optical path length of the light emitted from the second wavelength conversion element are equal to each other. At least one of the optical axis of the first excitation light and the optical axis of the second excitation light is arranged on the outside of the same plane as the surface formed by the optical axis of the light emitted from the first wavelength conversion element and the optical axis of the light emitted from the second wavelength conversion element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
