Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device capable of enhancing performance for reading an image by improving accuracy of an operation timing of an analog circuit in an image reading chip.SOLUTION: The image reading chip comprises: a plurality of pixel parts each of which includes a light receiving element for receiving light from the image and performing photoelectric conversion; an analog circuit; a logic circuit; a first power supply pad supplied with a first power supply voltage; and a second power supply pad supplied with a second power supply voltage lower than the first power supply voltage. The image reading chip has a shape that includes a first side and a second side shorter than the first side. The plurality of pixel parts are arranged in a row in a direction along the first side. The logic circuit includes a timing signal generation circuit for generating a timing signal that controls an operation timing of the analog circuit. A distance between the timing signal generation circuit and a midpoint of the first side is shorter than a distance between the analog circuit and the midpoint of the first side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
