Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly control depth of field to an image photographed by a light field camera.SOLUTION: An image reproducer which can generate an image focused to an arbitrary focal position from light ray information showing intensity distribution of light and an incident direction of the light includes: a photographing depth acquisition section (201) for acquiring photographing depth; a designated depth setting section (202) for setting designated depth; an optical blur image generation section (203) for generating an image in the designated depth by focusing it to a specified subject from the light ray information; and a pseudo blur image generation section (204) for generating the image in the designated depth, to which blur effect is given, by focusing it to the specified subject from the light ray information. When the designated depth is equal to or deeper than the photographing depth, the image in the designated depth is generated by using the optical blur image generation section. When the designated depth is shallower than the photographing depth, the image in the designated depth is generated by using the pseudo blur image generation section.
