Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of achieving acceleration of operations and reduction in power consumption.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a pixel and a first circuit. The pixel includes a first photoelectric conversion element and a second photoelectric conversion element. The first circuit has a function for comparing a first signal output from the pixel on the basis of imaging data acquired using the first photoelectric conversion element to a second signal output from the pixel on the basis of imaging data acquired using the second photoelectric conversion element and determining presence/absence of a difference. Thus, an edge detection function can be achieved without need for adding any peripheral apparatus to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
