Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a live view display or an imaging drive mode of recording a moving image without generating freeze of the live view display or the recording the moving image and worsening image quality.SOLUTION: When a drive mode of an image pickup element changes so as to change an angle of view from a state that an image signal used for live view displaying and recording a moving image is read out at a predetermined angle of view through a first output channel (Ch1) from an image pickup element, the outputting of the image signal which can perform the live view display at the angle of view after changing and the recording through a second output channel (Ch2) from the image pickup element. Then an acquisition destination of the image signal used for the image display and the recording, is changed to the second output channel from the first output channel.
