Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable deterioration of images caused by various factors to be restrained.SOLUTION: An image pickup apparatus is equipped with a photometric lens 213 that forms a secondary image of object light having formed a primary image after being transmitted by a lens unit 100, a photometric sensor 214 that outputs signals of the thereby formed secondary object image and a PN liquid crystal panel 208 positioned near the face of the primary image formed. On the basis of the outputs signals of the photometric sensor 214 where the object is the PN liquid crystal panel 208, an image resulting from modification of the outputs signals of the photometric sensor 214 is generated. In this way, it is made possible to restrain deterioration of images caused by various factors including manufacturing errors, variations over time, temperature variations and humidity variations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
