Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to correctly implement focusing, and set a bounce angle with excellent accuracy even when a pre-lighting part for a bounce operation and an AF auxiliary light unit for a focus adjustment control are separately provided.SOLUTION: A camera is capable of bounce lighting photography, and a strobe microcomputer 310 is configured to: implement pre-lighting upon a bounce drive to be conducted for controlling a bounce angle; range-find a distance between the camera and a subject, and a distance between a ceiling and the camera as first and second distances, respectively; and set the bounce angle on the basis of the first and second distances to implement a drive control of a movable part 300b at a set irradiation angle. A camera microcomputer 101 is configured to range-find a distance between the camera and the subject as a third distance upon a focus control causing the subject to be focused; and prohibit the pre-lighting when the range-finding is implemented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
