Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable power saving to be attained when supplying power to a power receiving device in which power to be required in accordance with a category or an operation status varies.SOLUTION: An imaging device 10 having a camera body 100 and an interchangeable type lens 200 to the camera body 100, and supplying power to the lens 200 from the camera body 100 in a non-contact way, the camera body 100 has: reception means that receives power supply destination relevant information having a power supply destination of the lens 200 associated with power to be required at the power supply destination from the mounted lens 200; and power supply means that refers to the power supply destination relevant information received by the reception means, generates power to be required in accordance with an operation status of the lens 200, and transmits the power to the lens 200.
