Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of more favorably performing both of reduction in power consumption of an imaging device and record processing at desired timing in a repetitive recording period.SOLUTION: An imaging device of the present invention takes an image by imaging means at every set interval time. If the interval time is equal to or more than a specific time in a period when a repetitive recording process to record the captured image on a recording medium is performed, the imaging device performs control to make a live-view display made by display means non-display and stop driving the imaging means, and if the interval time is less than the specific time, the imaging device performs control to make the live-view display made by display means non-display but not to stop driving the imaging means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
