Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an imaging method, and a program for obtaining a photograph of a natural and youthful appearance.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging device 3 for capturing an image of a subject and converting the image to image data; a face and aging database 9d for storing changes with aging in the shadow pattern of a face; a relative determination unit 5d which detects, from face image data corresponding to the face image of a person included in the image data, an aging sign appearing in the face of the person using the face and aging database 9d, and estimates the age of the person on the basis of the detected aging signs; and a display panel 8 for displaying the estimated age of the person.
