Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable three-dimensional photographing to be properly executed regardless of whether a posture of a photographing apparatus is horizontal or vertical when photographing two subject images having a parallax as a three-dimensional image by a single optical system.SOLUTION: A direction detection part 10 detects whether photographing is executed in a vertically-directed attitude in which a rectangular parallelepiped camera is in a vertically long state with respect to the gravity direction or in a horizontally-directed attitude in which the camera is in a horizontally long state with respect to the gravity direction. In photographing three-dimensional images, a control part 1 switches to three-dimensional photographing in the vertically-directed attitude or to that in the horizontally-directed attitude according to the detection result by the direction detection part 10.
