Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and an imaging method capable of controlling the function of a finder, according to which eye a photographer is looking in the finder.SOLUTION: In the imaging method of an imaging device having a finder and a touch panel, whether or not a photographer is looking in the finder is detected, touch position of an object to the detection area of the touch panel, or the position of an object closest to the touch panel is detected (S45, S53, S57), and when it is detected that a photographer is looking in the finder, function of the finder is controlled depending on the position detected by the touch panel (S63, S65, S69, S71).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
