Abstract:
To provide an improvement related to reduction of vibration transmission to a handle in an impact tool.SOLUTION: An impact tool 1 includes: a tool body 2; a motor; a handle 3; at least one biasing member 41; and at least one elastic member 55. The handle is connected to the tool body so as to be movable in at least an anteroposterior direction. The handle includes: a cover part 31 which covers a part of the tool body; and a holding part 33 which is connected to the cover part and extends in a direction intersecting with a drive shaft. The at least one biasing member is disposed between the tool body and the handle and biases the tool body and the handle in a direction such that these components separate from each other in the anteroposterior direction. The at least one elastic member is disposed between the tool body and the cover part of the handle. The at least one elastic member may move relative to the tool body and the handle and cause shear deformation in response to relative movement of the tool body and the handle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
