Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller for a vortex type pump capable of improving pump efficiency without intricately deforming a conventional blade shape, and capable of being easily manufactured at a low cost.SOLUTION: An impeller for a vortex type pump includes a main plate, and a plurality of blades fixed to the main plate. At least one of the blades includes a front surface extending obliquely from the main plate with respect to a center axis of the impeller in a direction opposite from a rotation direction of the impeller at least partially, and a rear surface extending from the main plate in parallel or obliquely in the rotation direction with respect to the center axis entirely.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
