Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow, when an information processing apparatus configured to output graphic data containing α information and an external device configured to superimpose a graphic image on a video image on the basis of the α information contained in the graphic data are connected via a general interface, the graphic image to be superimposed on the video image in accordance with the α information.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment, which outputs original image data containing color image information of an image and α information representing transparency of the image to an external device via an interface, comprises an output part. The output part outputs α information contained in the original image data to the external device as color image information via the interface.
