PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision method and an information provision device which allow a driver to appropriately use a rear wiper.SOLUTION: There is provided an information provision method for collecting a plurality of pieces of probe information including information on a travel scene of a vehicle and operation information of a front wiper or a rear wiper from a plurality of vehicles and providing information based on analysis results of the collected pieces of probe information. On the basis of the plurality of pieces of probe information, a travel scene of a vehicle which tends to use the rear wiper is specified and output information based on the travel scene of the vehicle which tends to use the rear wiper is outputted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
