Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine a characteristic property of a compound.SOLUTION: An information providing apparatus 101 obtains a rational formula of a first compound and a rational formula of a second compound that mutually become an isomer. In addition, the information providing apparatus 101 divides the rational formula of the first compound by partitioning it at right before carbon "C". Next, the information providing apparatus 101 specifies an element or an atom group that expresses a partial structure that bonds to a basic structure of an organic compound for respective blocks divided from the rational formula of the first compound. Similarly, the information providing apparatus 101 specifies an element or an atom group that expresses a partial structure that bonds to a basic structure of an organic compound for respective blocks divided from the rational formula of the second compound. In addition, the information providing apparatus 101 outputs an element or an atom group that expresses a specified partial structure for respective blocks in association with a position of a block in the rational formula.
