Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head and an inkjet recording device which can make a driving efficiency and printing quality compatible.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an inkjet head has: a pressure chamber into which is filled ink; an actuator which generates pressure vibration to ink by changing volumes of the pressure chamber according to an electric signal, and has a nozzle for discharging ink in the pressure chamber; and a driving circuit which supplies the electric signal to the actuator. When a primary natural vibration period of the actuator in a state where the pressure chamber and the nozzle are filled with ink is set as λ, the electric signal includes: a first voltage; a second voltage which can make the volumes of the pressure chamber larger than the first voltage; and a third voltage that is equal to an average of the first voltage and the second voltage or to the second voltage. The first voltage is changed to the second voltage, and after λ hours elapses, the third voltage is changed to the first voltage, so that one ink droplet is discharged through the nozzle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
