PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a base material at a proper position on a placement table.SOLUTION: An ink jet printer 1 which performs printing by discharging ink from an ink jet head 27 to a base material 15 on the basis of a printing job includes: a placement table 16 on which the base material 15 is placed; an L-shaped block 36a which is rotatably fixed on a plane in parallel with the placement table with an L-shaped bent part as a rotational shaft; and a suction pump 18 which suctions the air to the lower side of the placement table 16 from an origin suction hole 36e provided so as to penetrate in the thickness direction of the placement table 16 in the vicinity of the inner side of the L-shaped block 36a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
