Abstract:
Provided is an ink set for inkjet printing, which has good light resistance in a magenta-violet-blue hue range. The ink set for inkjet printing according to the present invention comprises two color inks, i.e., a magenta ink and a blue ink each comprising at least a dye, water and a water-soluble organic solvent, wherein magenta ink contains, as the dye, a dye represented by formula (1), a salt of the dye or a mixture of the dye and the salt. In formula (1), R1 to R5 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, wherein it is impossible that all of R1 to R5 are hydrogen atoms, and at least one of R1 to R5 represents a group selected from the group consisting of a sulfo group, a carboxy group, a phospho group and a quaternary ammonium group or a substituent having any one of the aforementioned groups. The dye represented by formula (1) may have the form of a dimer formed through a crosslinkable linking group.
