Abstract:
To solve the problems that a print sheet is wound around a surface of a driving roller, a pressing roller presses the print sheet toward the surface of the roller and grips the print sheet, and ink is transferred to the pressing roller depending on a position and a density of an image to be recorded on the print sheet so that the roller cannot press the print sheet properly.SOLUTION: A position of a pressing roller attached to a driving roller 13 can be changed in accordance with image data. A pressing roller driving part 50 comprises motors 56a and 56b that individually move the pressing rollers 15a and 15b along a rotary shaft 131 of the driving roller 13. A pressing-roller control part 43 identifies a position and a density of an image to be printed on a print sheet 9 by referring to the image data, and controls the motors 56a and 56b so that the two pressing rollers 15a and 15b move to a position at which the rollers can avoid a position at which an image of some kind exists or a high-density image exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
