Abstract:
To provide an inspection device and an inspection method of a fuel pump capable of inspecting pressure characteristics of the fuel pump whose driving source is a brushless motor.SOLUTION: An inspection device 1 of a fuel pump includes: a tank 2 into which a fuel is put; piping 21 connected to a discharge port 108 of a fuel pump 101; a servo valve 28 disposed in the middle of the piping 21; a pressure gauge 25 and a flow meter 27 disposed at an upstream side of the servo valve 28; a DC stabilization power source 71 electrically connected to a power source terminal 107 of the fuel pump 101; and a driving circuit 67 capable of generating driving voltage of a brushless motor as a driving source of the fuel pump 101. A programmable controller 62 adjusts a pressure loss in the piping 21 by controlling the servo valve 28, drives the fuel 101 by controlling the driving circuit 67, and collects a discharge pressure measured by the pressure gauge 25 and a flow rate measured by the flow meter 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
