Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of a high-pressure gas tank capable of non-destructively inspecting whether a fiber reinforcement resin layer has sufficient strength as a whole or not, and further inspecting whether a gas permeability of the fiber reinforcement resin layer is proper or not.SOLUTION: An inspection method of a high pressure gas tank includes: a step for charging a helium gas into the high pressure gas tank 1; a step for measuring a leakage quantity Qof the helium gas leaking per a unit time, from the high pressure gas tank; a step for calculating a gas permeability GTR2 of the fiber reinforcement resin layer 3 on the basis of the measured leakage quantity Q; and a step for determining acceptance on the basis of whether the gas permeability GTR2 is within a prescribed range or not.
