Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structured, low cost intake gate control system for controlling an intake gate installed in a water intake channel of a hydraulic power plant.SOLUTION: An intake gate control system for controlling an intake gate 4 installed in a water intake channel 2 of a hydraulic power plant includes: a drive mechanism 3 which opens/closes the intake gate 4 on the basis of a driving signal; dangerous water level detecting means 5 which is provided downstream of the intake gate 4 to detect an intake gate fully-closing water level A; control water level detecting means 6 which detects an intake gate opening water level C and an intake gate closing water level B; and a control part 7 which sends a driving signal for operating the drive mechanism 3 on the basis of detection signals sent from the control water level detecting means 6 and the dangerous water level detecting means 5. When the intake gate fully-closing water level A is detected, the intake gate control system makes the intake gate 4 close fully, and when the intake gate opening water level C or the intake gate closing water level B is detected, it makes the intake gate 4 open or close by a desired amount.
