Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake passage of an internal combustion engine capable of achieving both drivability and a torque characteristic.SOLUTION: An intake passage 3 of an internal combustion engine comprises: an air cleaner hose 3a which is tubular in shape to introduce intake air with an air cleaner 31 arranged at an upstream side thereof and an electronic throttle valve 32 arranged at a downstream side thereof and has a predetermined interior cross-sectional area; an enlarged passage 35 which has an inlet 35a connected to the air cleaner 31 through the air cleaner hose 3a and an outlet 35b connected to the electronic throttle valve 32 through the air cleaner hose 3a and has an interior cross-sectional area between the inlet 35a and the outlet 35b larger than the predetermined interior cross-sectional area; and a resistor 36 which is arranged inside the enlarged passage 35, allows the intake air to pass therethrough, and resists an intake air flow.
