Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interchangeable lens that achieves reduction in computational load to be imposed on a lens CPU for communicating driven information.SOLUTION: An interchangeable lens 200 mounted on a camera body 100 in a demountable manner includes: a photographing optical system 210 which includes a focus lens 210c and an image stabilization lens 210d both having a driven state being varied; and a lens CPU 203 which transmits, to the camera body 100, FL data on the driven state of the focus lens 210c at a first frequency and VR data on the driven state of the image stabilization lens 210d at a second frequency not exceeding the first frequency, and which receives body operation information on an operation state of the camera body 100 from the camera body 100. In the interchangeable lens 200, the lens CPU 203 changes the second frequency depending on the body operation information received, while transmitting the VR data by adding it to the FL data.
