Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage method capable of intermediately storing intermediate metal products in a dry process of producing metallic fast reactor fuel without substantially performing atmosphere management and temperature management, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: An intermediate product storage method for hybrid reprocessing process includes: a wet process 100 of producing light water reactor fuel from spent light water reactor fuel; an aqua-pyro process 200 of producing an oxide containing plutonium and the like; and a dry process 300 of producing a purified metal product by performing electrolytic purification S302 on a reduced metal product obtained by performing electrolytic reduction S301 on the oxide, and performing distillation S303, and finally producing a metallic fast reactor fuel. A stored intermediate metal product is fast reactor ingots formed by distilling the purified metal product, or storage fuel slags formed by injection molding identical in composition and pin-shape to metallic fuel slags that are pin-shaped metallic fast reactor fuel.
