Abstract:
To provide an internal combustion engine which enables smooth transportation of an oil by improving pressure loss in an oil sending passage.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine of the invention includes: an oil pan in which an oil is stored; an oil pump which suctions the oil of the oil pan and supplies the oil to a cylinder block; and an oil filter unit which has a filter member for filtering the oil and is detachably provided at a position placed in the oil sending passage ranging from the oil pan to the cylinder block and at the upstream side of the oil pump.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
